Our client was experiencing excessive heat and glare in his newly constructed luxury penthouse. The skylights allowed abundant natural light into the penthouse which resulted in increased indoor temperatures and UV exposure. This led to overall discomfort and also posed a threat to decorative artwork and furnishings which were exposed to direct sunlight and UV rays. This film is used with the aim of reducing heat, glare and UV radiation while hardly compromising the flow of natural light.
When we installed the Sky Light Window Film, there was an immediate reduction in indoor temperatures. The film blocked up to 99% of harmful UV rays, protecting the interior furnishings from fading. The client reported enhanced comfort and was pleased with the energy savings, as the need for air conditioning was significantly reduced too.
